The Crouton Comeback

Neal Brothers Foods re-launches the croutons that started it all  

Toronto, ON (August, 2008) – In light of its 20^th anniversary, Neal Brothers Foods is going back to its roots and re-launching the item that started it all - the Crouton.

Neal Brothers three new crouton varieties: Butter & Garlic, Parmesan Pepper and Multigrain with Garlic, will make their way into salads, soups and stuffing across Canada as of September, 2008.

“Neal Brothers Foods has come a long way since my brother and I were university students and started the business in our mother’s kitchen 20 years ago,” says Chris Neal, Co-Owner, Neal Brothers Foods.  “Our spring break project has since turned into one of Canada’s leading marketers and distributors of natural, gourmet and Fair Trade products.”

“We wanted to celebrate 20 years of success so we’re going back to the beginning and launching gourmet varieties of our famous Neal Brothers croutons,” says Peter Neal, Co-Owner, Neal Brothers Foods.  “Our mom is pleased that she no longer has to hand-tie the ribbons on the packaging or write the labels by hand!”

The new croutons will retail for $3.99 for a 142 gram box and are made with all natural ingredients, no artificial flavours, and taste as good as they did 20 years ago – fresh out of mom’s oven.
